Reports have been received that St. Vincent & Grenadines flag vessel KING SUCCESS (17,101gt, built 1987) experience a fire on board yesterday whilst on a voyage from Rizhao, China to Masan, Korea.
Lianyungang Maritime Safety Department received a distress call from the vessel and started a rescue operation immediately. Cargo vessel REN JIAN 6 also assisted in the operation.
All 25 crewmembers were successfully evacuated.
