Reports have been received that Philippines flag vessel FOXHOUND (4,593gt, built 1999) was abandoned by her crew after suffering water ingress in the Bismark Sea, north east of Lae, on 17th October.
FOXHOUND then later drifted aground on the Long Island Coast. She was on a voyage from China to Papua New Guinea and had sailed from Zhangjiagang on 20th September
