Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel EL CONDOR PAS (20,157gt, built 2001) ran aground today whilst passing the near Istanbul.
Life boats and a tug were dispatched immediately to the vessel. The extent of damage is unknown at present, but there have been no injuries reported.
EL CONDOR PAS is on a voyage to Samsun, Turkey from Denmark carrying a cargo of steel products.
