Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel ANRUN 3 (7,041gt, built 2009) is being towed to Colombo following rudder failure on 15th July.
The tanker is on a voyage from Dumai to Tuticorin. As a result of this incident it is possible that general average and/or salvage claims could be made against cargo insurers.
