Reports have been received that Togo flag vessel DOMINATOR (9,641gt, built 1981) suffered sea water ingress off the south west coast of Turkey on 16th April.
The ship’s crew were rescued by fishing vessels, although DOMINATOR is understood to still be afloat at this time.
The vessel is carrying a cargo of cement to Libya from Iskenderun, Turkey. Water ingress arose after a crack developed in the vessel’s hull
