Reports have been received that Maltese flag vessel CRILLON (16,705gt, built 1997) suffered an engine failure on 5th September after sailing from Mersin.
The vessel was given towage assistance by Tsavliris Salvage and towed to Limassol under an LOF salvage contract.
General Average has been declared. The owners/insurers of the cargo on board must provide General Average and Salvage security before the cargo can be delivered.
Dolphin Maritime already represents the insurers of part of the cargo on the vessel.
