Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel TAI YUAN (7,065gt, built 1995 ) sank on 25th August following collision with Chinese flag vessel GANG TAI TAI ZHOU (42,323gt, built 1994).
TAO YUAN traded between ports in China. The accident took place off Tianjin at around 11.00 local time. TAO YUAN took on a list and sank shortly afterwards. Fortunately her crew was rescued.
