Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel BEAGLE III (12,360gt, built 2009) sank earlier today following a collision with South Korean flag vessel PEGASUS PRIME (7,406gt built 2004) in Tokyo Bay.
11 of the BEAGLE III’s crew members are reported as rescued with the remaining 9 reported as missing.
BEAGLE III was carrying a cargo of steel coils and had sailed from Yokohama on 16th March 2014. PEGASUS PRIME, from Busan, is still afloat.
