Reports have been received that Cook Islands flag vessel PRIREIS (8239gt built1979) collided with Antigua Barbuda flag vessel CONSOUTH (7171gt built1998) off Greece this morning.
As a result of the collision PIRIREIS has capsized. A search and rescue operation is underway and 7 out of the 17 crewmembers have been rescued so far.
CONSOUTH has sustained structural damages but there are no reports of injuries on board. The vessel is currently proceeding to Greece.
