Reports have been received that Netherlands flag BBS STAR vessel (2316gt built 1999) was in collision on 29th August 2012 with vessel SNOEKGRACHT in the Kiel Canal.
BBS STAR suffered water ingress as a result and has had to discharge her cargo of grain for investigation/repair of hull damage.
