Reports have been received that Antigua & Barbuda flag vessel SHARK BAY (16041 gt; built 1997) has experienced problems with a cylinder head gasket just off Cape Town.
The vessel is currently waiting for permission to enter port for repairs. It is also possible that general average will be declared will be declared as a result of this incident.
