Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel CHANGQING 16 (6695gt built 2010) has sank today on the Yangtze River.
Regrettably, it is understood that some of those on board may have lost their lives as a result. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
The vessel was carrying a cargo of 10,168 mt of iron ore.
