Reports have been received that the Antiguan and Barbudan flag vessel THORCO CELEBRATION ( 7576 gt, built 2002) has had a fire in the cargo spaces whilst moored at Sao Sebastio. The fire brigade and port tugs were fighting the fire from the jetty and from the sea side
There are potential claims for salvage and General Average arising from this incident. There may also be PA losses.
