Reports have been received that the Panamanian flag vessel RAK CARRIER ( 36196gt, 1984 built) suffered flooding in two holds whilst at anchor off Mumbai and has been abandoned by the crew, fortunately without loss of life.
There are potential claims for salvage and General Average arising from this incident. There may also be PA losses.
