Reports have been received that Italian flag vessel JOLLY AMARANTO (22945gt built 1997) has reported not under command in heavy seas off the coast of Egypt today.
The vessel, with 21 crew on board, has apparently lost containers overboard in storm force winds. The ship’s master has requested evacuation of the crew.
