*Date:* 22nd February 2010 *Type:* Grounding *Voyage:* Malta/Lattakia, Limassol, Beirut, Mersin and Alexandria Reports have been received that Barbados flag vessel CMA CGM PAULISTA (16801gt built 1997) ran aground off the port of Lattakia on 22nd February 2010 The Owners arranged for a salvage operation, and the vessel was refloated with tug assistance. Casualty repairs necessary for the safe prosecution of the voyage are to be carried out in dry-dock and discharge of cargo and containers will be required. Shipowners declared General Average and appointed Stichling Hahn Hilbrich (Average Adjusters) Ltd., Limassol as Average Adjusters. The Average Adjusters will arrange for the collection of General Average securities and documentation from all parties interested in Cargo, Containers and BunkersDolphin Maritime and Aviation Services
