Reports have been received that Comoros flag vessel K.BURAT (5654gt built 1984) has been towed into Piraeus following an engine problem.
The general cargo vessel is understood to have 6000mt of animal feed on board. Tug AIGEON PELAGOS came to her assistance.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
