Reports have been received that the Hong Kong flag vessel SAGA HORIZON, 29381GRT, 1995 built was drifting with no power in lat 52 13.9N long 130 01.7W. A tug, the SEASPAN REGENT, has been dispatched to the scene. There are reportedly seas of over four metres in the region.

There are potential claims for salvage and General Average arising from this incident, as well as PA losses.

If salvage security is required, our personal corporate salvage guarantees are accepted by Lloyds. We can provide salvage security on your behalf (subject to internal procedures) for a bail fee from 0.8% of the guarantee amount.
