We have received instructions from cargo underwriters in respect of containers lost overboard from the above vessel during heavy weather while en-route to Ensenada, Mexico.

We understand that at least 10 containers were lost and we presume that a number of other containers will also have suffered damage as a consequence.

Carriers will undoubtedly raise a heavy weather defence of liability however, we have a record of making significant recoveries for our clients in claims of this nature.
