Reports have been received that the Mexican flag vessel EL MEXICANO, 7170 GRT, 1985 built has suffered water ingress into the engine room. She has had to sail to a safe anchorage at 21 40N 106 34 W. She started to take in water in lat 21 04 N long 106 54 W.  

There are potential claims for General Average arising from this incident, as well as PA losses.
