Reports have been received that the Liberian flag vessel, ENDEAVOUR, 9367 GRT, 1986 built has suffered an engine breakdown in lat 12 37N long 62 16W (just off Grenada). The shipowners have signed a Lloyds Open Form salvage contract with Five Oceans Salvage and the salvors have dispatched a tug from Martinique (the MASSAI). The vessel was under tow and has now arrived at Pointe a Pitre.

There are claims for salvage and potentially General Average arising from this incident.

Salvage security will be required from a guarantor based in the UK, our personal corporate salvage guarantees are accepted by Lloyds. We can provide salvage security on your behalf (subject to internal procedures) for a bail fee from 0.8% of the guarantee amount.
