Reports have been received that the  SYMS HUASHAN suffered engine difficulties caused a cylinder exhaust valve problem resulting in her requiring towage assistance. 

With the use of feeder vessels, we anticipate this casualty effecting cargo underwriters world-wide.

The vessel has signed Lloyds Open Form and declared General Average and we are already receiving instructions to assist cargo underwriters in lodging salvage and General Average guarantees.

As you will know, our personal corporate salvage guarantees are accepted by Lloyds.  We can provide salvage security on your behalf (subject to internal procedures) for a bail fee from 0.8% of the guarantee amount.  Kindly note that if we are to place our personal guarantees, it is conditional on Dolphin being instructed to handle all negotiations arising from the matter on your behalf.
