Reports have been received that the South Korean flag vessel ORCHID SUN, 26046 GRT, 1985 built has sent distress signals and is believed to be sinking about 90 nautical miles from Oman.

There are potential PA losses arising from this incident.

The prospect of salvage seems remote, but if salvage security is required, our personal corporate salvage guarantees are accepted by Lloyds. We can provide salvage security on your behalf (subject to internal procedures) for a bail fee from 0.8% of the guarantee amount.
