Reports have been received that Antigua and Barbuda flag vessel DIANA (9,556gt, built 2007), ran aground off Haifa on 19 January 2018.
We understand that the vessel lost power in heavy weather before running aground.
The vessel has on board a cargo of steel coils.
The Shipowners have entered into an LOF salvage contract with T&T Salvage LLC. Salvage security will be required before the cargo can be delivered.
It is also likely that General Average will be declared.
