Reports have been received that Greek flag vessel MARIA A.ANGELICOUSSI (86,201gt built 2001), became disabled with engine damage off Taiwan on or around 20 December 2017.
We understand that the vessel owners have entered into an LOF salvage contract with Greek salvors Tsavliris Salvage.
Before the cargo (mineral ore) can be delivered it will be necessary for salvage security to be provided. It is also likely that general average will be declared.
