Reports have been received that Antigua flag vessel NBP CRUISER (6,668gt, built 2011) struck bottom near Korsfjord and began to take on sea water as a result.
A mayday signal was sent and emergency services responded, although the situation is now reported to be under control.
The vessel is on a voyage from Barranquilla for Bergen.
