Reports have been received that Singapore flag vessel GAURI PREM (40488gt, built2007) suffered damage to her forepeak tank on 28th July 2013 which resulted in water ingress.
The vessel was on a voyage from San Lorenzo to Kosichang carrying a cargo of soya bean. Genera Average has been declared as a result of this incident.
The cargo insurers are requested to provide security before the cargo can be delivered. Dolphin Maritime already represents the insurers of part of the cargo on board.
