Reports have been received that Singapore flag vessel WAN HAI 602 (66,199gt, built 2007) suffered a chemical leak on board last month.
The ship had to deviate into port and employ a team to de-contaminate part of the vessel. We understand that the Egyptian Authorities refused to allow transit through Suez.
The vessel is now at Singapore. We and our office in Singapore is already assisting the insurers of part of the cargo on the vessel.
