We have been advised that Panama flag vessel GLOBAL JUNO (5387gt built 1994) was reported as sinking last night off the coast of China.
The vessel’s crew of 17 were all rescued after the ship’s master ordered abandon ship. The cause of the sinking is unclear at this stage.
The tanker was last reported to have called in Singapore on 22nd October. Before this she had called at Kandla. Her destination was Ningbo.
