Reports have been received that Finnish flag vessel KLENODEN (3828gt built 1991) has been towed into Trellebord with engine damage.
The vessel, on a voyage to Sweden and German with containers, required tug assistance last week and is currently still in port with her cargo on board.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
