Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel (3176gt built 1985) has taken on a list in bad weather off the coast of Norway.
We also understand that part of the vessel’s deck cargo, which consist of housing units, has been lost overboard.
The vessel, which is on a voyage between Sweden and Norway, intends to deviate towards land as soon as the weather improves.
In addition to the loss of some cargo, it is also possible that general average will be declared and that the insurers of the cargo on board will have to provide security.
